My name is Leonardo A. Salinas. I am a freshman in high school and I am in the Intro to Engineer and Design class. I am a more music oriented person but engineering interests me in a different way. It Allows hands on learning and computer skills that are needed in the engineering field. It also allows creative ways to solve normal and abnormal issues. I am a very green person and I try to find as many new technologies that reduce carbon emissions. I helped start a self sustainability club here at my high school to try and teach teens to grow their own food an try to get “off the grid”. I plan to become active in the “green” world and work with others to find alternative energies. This will require a background in engineering. This class will give me the beginning steps needed to obtain the knowledge in engineering that I will need to reach this goal. I work well with computers and I have some physical attributes.
