After reverse engineering our longboard we were to find an issue that occured with the product. We found that when the board reahces high speeds when being used, begins to get what is known as "speed wobble". this wobble is dangerouse to the rider and can cause them to fall. We needed a design to counteract the wobble. We took a series of ideas that the class gave us and used a decition matrix to choose the best design. We found that when mass is added to the board the frequency of the wobble appearing is decreased. We decidied with the matrix that increasing the boardss mass and length would help counteract the speed wobble. Below you can see pictues of the dimentions changes that were made to the deck.

 Below is the decistion matrix that we used to determine the improvemnt that we were to make to the long board. We used a variety of ideas and constrants to make our decition and when we tallied up the scores, increasing the deck size came out on top.

 In the image below the original dimentions of the deck are shown. It had the length of 48 inches.

The image below show the New dimentions of the board's deck . The length of the board was increased to 54 inches long.
